Withings is preparing to release the first FDA-approved ‘health station’ of its kind. The ‘Body Scan Connected Health Station’ is essentially a $400 smart scale. However, once you stand on it, it’s going to tell you more than just your weight. The device will detect atrial fibrillation through a six-lead ECG, while also analyzing your vascular age, nerve activity and ‘segmented body composition.’ On top of that, it can even gauge and monitor your foot sweat to screen for early signs of neuropathy. The device was first unveiled at CES 2022, and fans can find more information about it here.
Today we’re taking a look at a waterproof backpack, stylish fish spatula and the Autodromo watch brand. This is Today in Gear.
