If you’re lucky enough to be enjoying a fleeting glimpse of British summertime, we’ve got just the thing.

This 10-litre bicycle cooler bag is made from a waterproof polyester to safeguard against showers, and is lined with aluminium foil insulation to keep food and drink cool (should the sun stay around for long enough to enjoy a picnic).

Call us pessimists, but just in case the weather returns to being unseasonably cool, we’ll throw in a thermos so you can carry a hot drink to revive your spirits.

To be in with a chance of winning it, simply leave a message at the bottom of the page letting us know your summer picnic drink of choice and we’ll pick a winner next week.

The ETA was established in 1990 as an ethical provider of green, reliable travel services. Over 30 years on, we continue to offer cycle insurance , breakdown cover and mobility scooter insurance while putting concern for the environment at the heart of all we do.

The Good Shopping Guide judges us to be the UK’s most ethical provider.

Keeping it traditional, ham sandwiches, scotch eggs, mixed salad (automatically tossed by riding along!) and sausage rolls. This bag would fit perfectly on my rack above my Pannier (carrying the essential waterproof clothes and picnic blanket in there).

Let’s keep it healthy, sandwiches and fruit for me.

Summer picnic drink of choice for me would be a half bottle of Manzanilla sherry. Important to be nicely chilled though. My wife doesn’t like the stuff so I also get to drink the whole bottle.

Well Im thinking, after a lovely longish ride stopping and putting the tent up and watch the sunset with a glass of Prosseco with a squeeze of orange

A Screwdriver, in case the rack comes loose (hic)

Pepsi Max or similar. Sorry I have no taste

A great bit of kit for family days out!

Champagne pour moi 🍾🥂

Nice kit for summer.

Water for sure and some juice of kombutcha.

Just the thing for a picnic

Without doubt, a nice local beer, not too cold, but nicely cool, refreshing, tasty and with a little bit or rehydration too!

I always drink mainly tap water, but orange juice and ginger beer are also possible.I have also been known to drink beer or wine when walking, but less when cycling.

Fresh lemonade over ice please!

Bread, cheese, pickle, apples, beer

Peroni 0% alcohol beer. It tastes surprisingly good! And you can still ride your bike afterwards 🙂

Champagne pour moi 🍾🥂

What a great idea, a cooler to sit above the panniers. No more stinky cheese or melted butter when camping or out for a picnic. Drink of choice for summer is my home-made lemonade, with ice cubes and slices of lemon,

a chilled, non-alcoholic ginger beer but it has to be “fiery”!

Somewhere cool to keep my salad!

Great for the supermarket run and anything you want to keep chilled on the way back!

That bag would fit perfectly on my bike and I would use it for shopping and picnics! Extremely useful!

Really useful addition and looks well designed, could keep the coffee hot for the front carrier shown in a previous ETA bulletin.

Had to be a cold Biro D’Italia for me.

Nothing too fancy, just some orange juice with fizzy water…

Water

My drink of choice would be a cold mezcal margarita, nothing better on a sunny afternoon.

This should keep my sarnies cool!

What a beauty!

Probably non-alcoholic when cycling, so a glass of chilled apple and mango juice.(not from concentrate!) please.

Homemade lemonade would be my picnic drink of choice.

It would have to be a Lucozade for me. (Plenty of flavours to choose from now.)

Chilled soft drinks and cucumber sandwiches.

I’d really like the opportunity to ride a cooler (bone) shaker…

Picnic to eat on the beach with my daughter

Just the thing for some cold juice and sarnies
